Dr. Erica Wise, Director of Psychological Services, is the recipient of the 2008 North Carolina Psychological Association’s Mary G. Clarke Award.
The Clarke Award was established in 1983 to honor a psychologist for outstanding contributions over a number of years to psychology in North Carolina.
Dr. Wise was selected for her active contributions in state and national psychological associations. She has served on the board of North Carolina Psychological Association in a variety of capacities and is the 2008 Co-Chair of the Professional Affairs and Ethics Committee and APA Council Representative. Her broad knowledge of ethical, clinical, and training issues allows her to give insightful and focused explanations of complex issues. Dr. Wise exemplifies the qualities of dedication, competence, high ethical standards, and advocacy for psychology.
