Shannon Blakey, a Clinical Psychology graduate student, has advanced to the final round of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition.

The Three Minute Thesis is an academic competition that assists current graduate students with fostering effective presentation and communication skills. Participants have just three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to a non-specialist audience. After a set of preliminary rounds, 10 finalists are chosen to compete in the final round on Tuesday, November 1 at 4:00 PM in G100 Bondurant Hall.

Congratulations to Shannon on her advancement on the final round! The winner of the final round will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and will advance to the regional competition in February 2017 in Annapolis, Maryland.
