Donte Bernard, a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, is the 2017 recipient of the Chancellor’s Doctoral Candidacy Award by the UNC Graduate School Initiative for Minority Excellence.

Donte was selected among nominees in departments across UNC Chapel Hill. He received this $5,000 award based on his successful advancement into Ph.D. candidacy. The Chancellor’s Doctoral Candidacy Award is made possible by the generous support from Chancellor Carol Folt.
