Ryan Jacoby, a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, is the recipient of the 2015 Baughman Dissertation Research Award.

The purpose of this award is to promote and support innovative dissertation research in our department.

Ryan’s research aims to better understand optimal ways to deliver exposure-based therapy for obsessions. She will compare the conventional gradual exposure approach to a novel approach emphasizing variability in exposure intensity to maximize tolerance of anxiety and fear.
