Ryan Jacoby, a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, is a recipient of the 2015 American Psychological Association Dissertation Research Award.

The APA Dissertation Research Award’s purpose is to assist science-oriented doctoral students of psychology with research costs. 30-40 grants are awarded each year, along several larger grants for those students whose dissertation research reflects excellence in scientific psychology.

Ryan won for her dissertation, “A Translational Study of the Mechanisms of Exposure Therapy for Obsessions: Gradual vs. Variable Exposure Intensity.”
