Kimberly Pentel, a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, is a recipient of a 2018 American Psychological Foundation Roy Scrivner Memorial Research Grant.

The Roy Scrivner Memorial Research Grant is a $11,000 grant for empirical and applied research focused on lesbian, gay and bisexual family psychology and lesbian, gay and bisexual and transgender family therapy. These grants are provided to graduate students, with preference given to dissertation candidates, with a demonstrated commitment to LGBT family issues.
