Dr. Enrique Neblett, an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology, is a recipient of a 2018 Detroit Community-Academic Urban Research Center grant.
The Detroit Community-Academic Urban Research Center (Detroit URC) is a collaboration of representatives from multiple Detroit organizations and academic researchers from the University of Michigan who work together to foster health equity in the city of Detroit. Their mission is to enhance understanding of the relationship between the social and physical environmental determinants of health, and translate that knowledge into public health interventions, programs, and policies aimed at promoting health equity.
Dr. Neblett received a total award of $10,000 (over two years) for hisproject, “Let’s Talk About Race!”
