The Clinical Psychology Program, our doctoral degree program accredited by the American Psychological Association since 1949, has been ranked #2 in the 2020 U.S. News and World Report of Best Clinical Psychology Programs.
U.S. News and World Report first ranked graduate programs in 1987 and done so annually since 1990. Its annual rankings are based on expert opinions on program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school’s faculty, research, and students. Its periodic rankings of additional disciplines and specialties in the sciences, social sciences, humanities, health area, and other areas are based on the ratings of peer academic experts, including deans, program directors, and faculty. Surveys for the 2020 rankings were conducted during Fall 2019 and early 2020.
