Diversity Training Subcommittees
Learn more about our Diversity Training Committee’s (DTC) subcommittees and the graduate student members involved in each of the five 2020-21 subcommittees below.
Climate & Representation Subcommittee
This subcommittee provides opportunities to discuss diversity-related concerns, and will respond to current events (at the university, community, national, or global level) as they impact those in our program from diverse backgrounds.

Communication & Collaboration Subcommittee
This subcommittee communicates with other organizations/committees both in and outside of our department/university whose missions and initiatives overlap with those of the DTC. This may involve liaising with the departmental diversity committee as well as the recently-formed subcommittees addressing racial equity within the department.

Curriculum & Training Subcommittee
This subcommittee works with Director of Clinical Training and student representatives to incorporate diversity and multiculturalism training into the program’s curriculum (e.g., organizing the Diversity Journal Club and Multicultural Case Conference), as well as organizing other training opportunities (e.g., Safe Zone).

Digital Media Subcommittee
This subcommittee is responsible for updating and maintaining the DTC website and listserv, and will use these and other online platforms (e.g., social media accounts) to disseminate information about DTC and diversity-related events.

Movie Night Subcommittee
This subcommittee is responsible for planning/hosting movie screenings (and/or plays or other events.) on diversity-related topics, as well as facilitating discussion after the viewing.
