Melanie Fischer, a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, is the 2014 recipient of the American Psychological Association’s Dissertation Research Award.

The purpose of the award is to assist science-oriented doctoral students of psychology with research costs. The award honors students whose dissertation research reflects excellence in scientific psychology.

Melanie won for her research, “Disorder-Specific Patterns of Emotion Coregulation in Couples: Comparing Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Anorexia Nervosa.”
