Leigh Spivey, a graduate student in Clinical Psychology is a recipient of the 2018-2019 Graduate/Professional LGBTIQA+ Advocacy Award by the UNC LGBTQ Center.
The LGBTIQA+ Advocacy AWard recognizes contributions to or advocacy on behalf of LGBTIQA+ communities at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Individuals who have contributed by elevating the status of LGBTIQ-identified persons and/or allies; helping improve campus or community policies affecting LGBTIQ-identified persons; and/or enhancing the visibility and awareness of LGBTIQ issues are the recipients of this award. Leigh was honored at the Lavender Graduation on Sunday, May 5, 2019. Congratulations, Leigh!
