John Helminski, Psy.D, ABPP, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology, was recently recommended for inclusion on the roster of the Fulbright Specialist Program.

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Specialist Program matches highly skilled U.S. educators and professionals with host institutions abroad. Specialists collaborate on projects proposed by the host institution and conduct activities such as lecturing at a university, training and consulting for up to six weeks. Dr. Helminski hopes to utilize his expertise as a forensic psychologist on an international project training psychology students in forensic mental health practice.

Due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions, Dr. Helminski will officially be added to the Fulbright Specialist Roster for a three year tenure when the U.S. Department of State indicates that the program’s international projects can resume.
